Return to previous page

The purpose of this training exercise was to provide an understanding of how available resources respond together to an event. It reinforced current practices and provided an effective way to evaluate the emergency response plan.

This exercise also allowed center responders to initiate the joint Incident Command System for multi-agency response and practice inter agency communication. The following agencies were involved in this drill. NASA/AMES security, Moffett Field Fire Department, NASA/AMES Health Unit, DART HazMat and building N-255 managers and occupants.
